fast and simple Node.js version manager fnm (Fast Node Manager) installs Node.js versions and switches between them. It is a single native binary that covers the everyday nvm commands: install, use, default, list, exec and uninstall work as their nvm counterparts, and .nvmrc, .node-version and the package.json engines field are all read. . Shell integration comes from eval "$(fnm env)" in the shell's startup file; with --use-on-cd the Node.js version switches automatically on entering a directory. Completions for bash, zsh and fish are included.
