About this package

community fork of the PlatformIO embedded build system pioarduino is the community-maintained fork of PlatformIO Core, kept compatible with current Espressif platforms after upstream froze its ESP32 support: Arduino-ESP32 core 3.x boards build with the "pioarduino espressif32" platform. For everything else it is the same build system and package manager, with the same "pio run", "pio test", "pio debug" and "pio device monitor" commands and IDE project generation. . It installs the same platformio Python module and the same pio and platformio commands as the platformio package, so the two cannot be installed together. . Toolchains, frameworks and the PIO Home web UI are downloaded from the pioarduino registry into ~/.platformio on first use; only the core command-line tool is packaged here.
